Baby Quilt!

July 17th, 2009 . by Melissa

Since I was about 13, I’ve had the desire to make a quilt for each of babies during my 9 month body bonding experience with them. A special hand made gift from mom: a labor of love to greet them with when I meet them for the first time. For Baby Jack, this is what I have crafted up. I haven’t begun the quilt yet but here are two drafts of how I might like the final product to look. Also, I have also changed my mind on his nursery theme (knowing now that he is in fact a boy, and in fact a Jack) and the quilt will match the new theme. If you like one version of the quilt better than the other, please comment below! I am looking for suggestions before I begin all the hard work. All of the fabric will be flannel.

I love the new theme….I like option B. The brown makes a nice frame around the whole quilt. It makes it look complete. Love, Jack’s mom

I would have to pick Option B! They are so cute! Congrats on having a boy, by the way! I hadn’t heard!
