Evansville Children’s Museum
January 12th, 2012 . by MelissaWe were lucky enough to spend several days in Southern Indiana over the Christmas break. My dad was off for an entire day while we were there so we spent our time together at the Evansville Children’s Museum. The museum was formerly a library built in the 1920’s that we used to frequent when I was child. It was very neat to see it used for a different but equally good purpose. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of activities and the size of the museum. We had a fantastic day. I am not sure who had more fun…my dad or Jack?
- Jack playing with the vacuum balls.
- Climbing around in the Duck factory.
- Ready for work!
- Finally a pirate stash to compliment a perfect pirate face.
- Jack fixing up Gramps with some face paint.
- And the final product. What a good sport my dad was!
- Jack with his band in the background.
- Don’t worry, he’s a percussionist too.
- Sitting under the rain cloud.
- Taking a stab at rock climbing.
- Of course Jason had a little bit of fun too.
- Down to business.
- Jason and my dad trying to desperately finish their bridge before the museum closed. They didn’t make it.
- Bye CMoE! We will definitely have to visit you again, soon!
