Thanksgiving in Utah

November 28th, 2011 . by Melissa

We spent our Thanksgiving holiday this year with Jason’s family in Utah. After almost losing our camera bag with not only our video camera in it but also our still camera on the plane flying out to SLC (…thank you Delta for finding it! ), the rest of trip went fairly smooth. We visited with Jason’s family and extended family, hung out with some of our good friends, had a small birthday party for Jack, ate a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, and went to the temple. Jack loved playing with “Nona” (actually named Kona) and swimming in Grandma’s giant bath tub. He also got to spend some “qt” with his favorite person ever, Aunt Dim (Kim). After almost dying on the plane ride back to Indy (seriously, we had s0da-sloshing-out-0f-your-cup turbulence) we were glad to be home. Unfortunately, our car battery was dead and we had to call road side assistance for a jump in the parking lot! We were all the more grateful when we finally made it home to our nice, warm beds!

Here are some photos!
