Shhh! Book
February 2nd, 2011 . by MelissaI’ve been working on a quiet book for Jack over the past few months. What a project! It has taken me forever…and ever…and ever. I am FINALLY done with all of the pages (except I need some animals for Noah’s Ark), so now I just have to finish the cover and then it can be put to work! Here are the pages:
- Page 1 – I love to see the temple! I chose the Salt Lake Temple because this where our little family began. The flowers are detachable from their stems.
- Page 2 – Lift up your voice and sing! The 3 music notes can be slid across black yarn.
- Page 3 – The Tree of Life. The “desirable” fruit can plucked from the tree.
- Page 4 – Noah’s Ark. Someday there will be cute little animals on this ark. But for now, I need to go make dinner.
- Page 5 – The Pioneers. The piece of yarn here is supposed to be a shoe string. When Jack is a little older hopefully he can learn how to lace the shoe.
- Page 6 – Pay your Tithing. The coins can be added to the piggy bank.
- Hopefully this will help Jack with his counting later on.
- Page 7 – Time to Pray! The hands on the clock move.
- Page 8 – Choose the Right! This is an activity page, for crayons/markers and paper to draw on.
Melissa! That looks great! You did a fantastic job and I am sure Jack will thoroughly enjoy it!
