Jason the Comedian

I think even Jason will admit he is a bit of a “neat freak.” A few days ago, the clutter in our bedroom was really getting to him. While we have a very large bedroom, Jack’s entourage of equipment takes up an enormous about of space. Jason began to brainstorm: What items could we remove from the bedroom? He looked over at my elliptical (which has basically turned into an expensive clothes rack) and then back to me. I knew what was coming…

“You don’t ever use it, let’s just put it in the garage.”

“No way! I run sometimes. Besides, if it’s not staring me down, making me feel guilty,  I’ll really never use it.”

The next day I came home from work and found this:

I hadn’t laughed that hard in a long time.

Thanks, Love…for the hint and for the laugh. :)

Jack, Lately

I love this outfit and had to get a picture before he grows out of it!

Another cute one of my little dino.

Another cute one of my little dino.

He's figured out how to grab his toys. Play time should be a lot more fun now.

Jason's family gave jack this awesome bath towel for Christmas.

Notice the embroidered text at the bottom of the towel? Clever, huh!

I Heart You Day

Jason and I got all dolled up and went out on the town on February 13th. Jack was in tow but, pleasantly, he didn’t damper the romance with any outbursts. We ate at my favorite local restaurant, La Scala. Best described as: Heaven in my mouth. I ordered the Bistecca Allla Gorgonzola (which someday, I’d like to attempt making) and Jason ordered lobster ravioli with shrimp. We were both absolutely delighted with our choices, and left as stuffed as the pasta we just ate.

2 Month Check Up

February 1st, 2010 . by Melissa

Jack Jack had to get 3 shots and an oral roto-virus last Wednesday at his 2 month checkup. They gave him the oral medicine first and to the nurse’s surprise he screamed and screamed. Apparently, he is pretty picky about the tastes that enter his mouth. In fact, he was so disheveled by the oral medicine that he didn’t even notice she poked him 3 times with a needle! Right at 2 months Jack began to smile. We love to see him smile, it just melts my heart. He smiles most often when we change his diaper…he must think its funny to leave us smelly presents. He’s pretty much holding his head up all on his own. He also rolled over again from his tummy to his back…that’s 3 times now and we still haven’t caught the act on camera! And he’s found his thumb! Finally! And he loves it!

2 Month Stats:
